About the program
The Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Saint Vincent Hospital offers a wealth of broad-based clinical experience that provides an excellent foundation for a career in sports medicine. We are sponsored by the Family Medicine Residency Program at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pa. Saint Vincent is a member of the Allegheny Health Network in western Pennsylvania. We play a vital role in both the educational and clinical missions of Saint Vincent Hospital. You will find a friendly, supportive and collegial atmosphere that encourages you to make the most of your fellowship experience.
Benefits and salary
- Salary: $68,360.00.
- Reimbursement of out-of-town moving expenses up to $2,000 with receipts (subject to prevailing tax rate)
- Health and dental insurance: interns, residents, and associates pay a portion of the premium costs
- Life insurance, long-term disability, and malpractice insurance
- Education: reimbursement for expenses incurred up to $3,000 to attend two national sports medicine meetings
- Stipend that can be used to offset meals, books, or ultrasound conference
- 24-hour parking available in parking garage for monthly fee
- Paid time off: 10 working days per year
- An additional 10 days of salaried absence for offsite medical education (courses, symposia, etc.)
- Child Care Center available for a fee
