Who’s eligible
Everyone ages 6 months and up is eligible for a free COVID-19 vaccine. Be mindful that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is authorized for children ages 6 months to 17 years, and Moderna is authorized for children 6 months to 5 years.

The FDA, with support from the CDC, gave authorization for vaccine eligibility and distribution based on clinical studies and thorough research. The vaccines have been proven safe and effective against Coronavirus.

Where to get vaccinated
COVID-19 vaccines and boosters are readily available. AHN offers vaccines at various hospitals, clinics, and offices throughout the region. You can also visit many local pharmacies to get a vaccine.
What do I do if I think I have Coronavirus?
If you have symptoms like a fever or cough, the safest place to be — for you and everyone else — is in your home. To get care, you have a few different options.

First, don’t panic. Call your doctor’s office or (412) NURSE-4-U (412) 687-7348 first before going to the emergency department or to your physician’s office. They will help you determine your next steps.

If you’re experiencing symptoms or think you’ve been exposed to Coronavirus, all our Express Care locations offer Coronavirus testing. You’ll be evaluated by a provider first, and then receive a test, if necessary.
