As outlined by the CDC, COVID-19 boosters are for all individuals 5 years of age and older after completion of their primary vaccination course with any FDA-authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine. Immunocompromised patients, ages 5 and up, are also eligible for an additional third dose.
